Youth

Do you have a hunger and thirst in your heart for more of God in your life? Have you been searching for the support of a dynamic and spiritually powerful youth group? The Youth Group here at Family Worship strives to provide a sound place for youth to still be youth and cultivate a strong personal relationship with Jesus.

We realize that the youth of today will be our leaders tomorrow and cultivating a personal relationship with God will help them be successful in the future. We want to help mentor and guide them to find their individual purpose in ministry. We desire to train young people to apply Christianity to every area of their life so they can, in turn, share with others at school, with their family, or around the community.

The purpose of the Youth Ministry is to prepare young people ages 13 through High School graduation for committed Christian living throughout their lives. With that in mind, we continually focus on building strong personal relationships - with God and with each other. We strive to provide a safe and Godly environment where youth can be themselves and learn practical Biblical principles so that it comes alive in each person's heart. Our goal is for the youth to learn God's Word and have His Spirit in their lives so they have the power to overcome the obstacles they may face in this ever-changing world.

The youth have created a tight-knit bond of friendship and share a deep love for the Bible and the things of God. This family environment is welcoming to all youth from different backgrounds.

Tony and Audrey, Youth Ministry Directors, have a desire to reach out to young people both in the church as well as those in the community. They consider it a privilege and honor to be a part of the youth ministry and do not take their responsibilities lightly.

Every Friday night special Youth-specific activities are held - either a practical Bible Study with applicable and relevant topics or a fun outing or activity. Our youth services are exciting and dynamic, promoting individual spiritual growth. Throughout the year, we offer many special activities including overnight lock-ins, youth rallies with nearby churches, and annual conventions.
