Morning Service & Sunday School

This evangelical style service opens with songs and worship prior to the preaching. Children are dismissed after the worship service to their respective Sunday school rooms where they are taught the Word of God in a kid-friendly environment. Prayer begins at 9:30am.

Tuesday:

10am-11am

Ladies' Home Fellowship

Get together with a group of ladies to talk about the Bible in a relaxed home environment. Please call for details on the location and check the calendar to see the current schedule.

7pm-8pm

Advanced Bible Study

Not only learn about the deeper things of the Bible, learn how to study the Scriptures for yourself and how to apply these concepts to your life. A different book and subject begins every few months, typically with a 2-3 week break between sessions. Check the calendar to see the current schedule.

Thursday:

7:30pm

Worship Service & Bible Study

This service usually opens with a short session of songs and worship prior to the teaching. A variety of subjects are taught, such as how to improve your relationship with God and family, be a better person, as well as many other helpful topics. Prayer begins at 7pm.

Friday:

7:30pm

Service or Activity

The youth meet every Friday evening for either a service or a special activity. They often meet with other youth groups in the area or go on outings. Check the calendar to see the current schedule or for any special events.

What to expect

Family Worship Center is a welcoming, family environment that encourages people to come as they are. Because of that, you are sure to feel at home when you come through our doors as you are greeted and offered a seat. If this is your first time with us, you will likely be asked to fill out a visitor Information card so we can personally greet you and contact you regarding special events or ministries that we think you'll enjoy. Your information is kept confidential.

A dedicated time for prayer begins 30 minutes before each service; some people may kneel, sit in their seat or stand while praying. As a personal relationship with God is encouraged, you may notice some people pray out loud. You are welcome to do so as well if you are comfortable.

The service usually begins with worship songs - often a mix of modern worship music as well as classic hymns accompanied by keyboard and drums. We take to heart and apply what David, the Psalmist, wrote by worshiping on the instruments as well as by clapping our hands.

At some point in the service, announcements of the upcoming events are presented and a no-pressure offering may be taken. Then, the speaker preaches or teaches a Biblically based message to the congregation that is sure to be applied to every life. Your life will be changed by God's Word and Spirit and by the love from our church family.

If you bring children to a Sunday Morning Worship Service, as soon as the worship service is over, the children will be dismissed to go to the Sunday School rooms in the back. You are welcome to walk your child there if you would like. At the close of service, you can either meet your child in the Sunday School area, or your child will be brought out to you.
